Christopher Ward sale of discontinued and nearly new watches - January 2022

Christopher Ward usually has a clearance sale twice a year. One in early January and another in July. These sales have discontinued models at 40% off. There have been discounts of 50% in previous years and occasionally you may find 60% off for older discontinued models.

There are also Nearly New watches which are watches that have been used for promotional purposes, showroom models and most likely customer returns. These may have slight signs of wear and very light marks but most appear in new condition. I have ordered many in the past and they usually are in almost perfect condition.

All watches in the sale have their usual 60/60 guarantee so 60-day returns and 60 months movement warranty. So really no risk involved in ordering any watch in the sale.

Many enthusiasts wait for these sales with great anticipation because of the great deals that can be found. Christopher Ward sends out email notifications for VIP previews so signing up to their mailing list is a good start to get an alert for these sales.

This January sale saw many C65 models because this range will be refreshed with a new model in 2022. The Abyss and C65 Worldtimer are also discontinued, most likely because of slow sales. The C60 with red ceramic bezel was in the July 2021 sale and returned for this sale. A very unique bezel color that is hard to find and costly to produce.

The Nearly New models can be anything so you never know what will be offered. Many watches get snapped up in the first few hours of the sale but they usually add more during the day. And they also may add more when the sale goes live on their website after the VIP preview ends. The VIP link is usually posted on several forums and social media groups.
