You don’t like ‘flash’ or ‘loud’ – which is why you do like the C60 Abyss. A diving watch that’s almost-entirely matte black, it offers both impeccable timing and water resistance to 600m. And while the ‘black’ Super-LumiNova® isn’t as bright as conventional lume, it still delivers increased visibility in low light. In fact, you may find a watch that doesn’t ask to be noticed gets noticed rather a lot.

Operate under the radar

Why would we make a ‘stealth’ diving watch? Because in a world where everything shouts, sometimes it pays to whisper.

With a deliberately restrained aesthetic, the Abyss’s matte-black dial is complemented by a brushed ceramic bezel and gunmetal PVD case, while its deep-stamped trident case back has a black DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. Legibility is assured in even the darkest of conditions thanks to the black Super-LumiNova®, which has been applied to the Abyss’s hands, gunmetal indexes and bezel markings.

But this Trident isn’t entirely monochrome: the moment you put it on, you’ll notice the seconds hand, complete with signature Trident counter-balance, circling the dial, wholly coated in red.

Sellita SW200-1 Automatic

An update on the classic Sellita SW200, this Swiss-made self-winding movement is known for its accuracy and reliability.

The 26-jewel movement boasts a date wheel, a 4Hz frequency (equating to a smooth eight ticks per second) and a 38-hour power reserve. It also has an in-built anti-shock system to maintain accuracy when faced with any sudden jolts.

A 38-hour power reserve means the movement will last for well over a day off the wrist, while its rotor has a Colimaçoné finish and is engraved with our twin flags pattern.
