Perfect stealth
True power doesn’t need to announce itself.
Take the new C60 Graphite Special Edition. Limited to 250 pieces, and with a muted palette inspired by the steel hulls of submarines, its stealthy appearance offers little clue to the quality of engineering and craftsmanship within. It’s only when you place it on your wrist that you realise how powerful its combination of engineering excellence, luminosity and durability is.
At 42mm, the Light-catcher™ case isn’t shy, but thanks to its ergonomic design, wears smaller than you’d think. And its colour – or lack of – comes from being treated with PVD (physical vapour deposition) gunmetal.
Meanwhile, the case back, deep-stamped with the Trident logo, is covered in diamond-like carbon (DLC). And because it’s a Trident, it’s water-resistant to 600m, so should you wish to explore the depths, you can go as deep as you’d like.
The sandblasted matte grey dial is equally impressive. Its handset and baton indexes are deep-filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1 for timekeeping after dark, while the twin-flags logo at 12 o’clock balances the date wheel at 6.
The ceramic diving bezel, also covered in DLC, has been precision-engineered for a satisfying ‘click’, while its lume-heavy numerals deliver timing guidance when lights are low.
Power comes courtesy of Sellita’s 26-jewel SW200-1 automatic movement. Not only does it provide years of accurate timekeeping, but its anti-shock mechanism means it’ll shrug off the heaviest of knocks.
Finally, because we know how much you value flexibility, the C60 Graphite Special Edition is available on either a new-generation bracelet, #tide strap (in ‘Connery’ stripes), or a hybrid band. And thanks to our quick-release system, swapping between them is child’s play.
Sellita SW200-1 Automatic
An update on the classic Sellita SW200, this Swiss-made self-winding movement is known for its accuracy and reliability.
The 26-jewel movement boasts a date wheel, a 4Hz frequency (equating to a smooth eight ticks per second) and a 38-hour power reserve. It also has an in-built anti-shock system to maintain accuracy when faced with any sudden jolts.
